About Axion
Axion is a Boston-based non profit organization which sponsors and supports the social, charitable, political, educational, business and cultural needs of the Greek American community in the New England area.
Why Join Axion Since the group was founded in 1986 more than $500,000 has been raised and donated to charities such as the Hellenic Cardiac Fund for Children at Children's Hospital, The Cooley's Anemia Foundation, the Hellenic Nursing Home, The Boston Diocese Camp, St. basil's Retreat, The Athens Earthquake Relief Fund, Tsunimi Disaster Relief Fund, Philoxenia House. and thre Haiti Relief Fund. Annual Events include the Snoball; a social fund-raiser for charity, Business Networking Reception, Christmas Giving to families, job fairs, coordinating events with the Greek Independence Day parade, lectures, a Summer cruise around Boston Harbor and a Halloween Gala. Axion will be exploring joint ventures with similar organizations locally, nationally and internationally. |
